KeepDay
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 June 2026
Keepday processes your content on your device. Your photos, screenshots, notes and voice memos stay on your iPhone — they are never uploaded to us, never analyzed by us, and never shared by us. We do collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the app (details below).
1. Your content stays on your device
Keepday has no user accounts. Your screenshots, recognized text, notes and voice memos are never uploaded to us. We never see, store or transmit your content — there are no Keepday servers that hold it.
2. Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how the app is used and make it better, Keepday collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics through a privacy-friendly analytics provider — for example which features are opened and how often a sorting session is completed. This data is not linked to your identity, contains no advertising identifiers, and is never used to track you across other apps or websites. It never includes your content (no screenshots, no recognized text, no notes, no voice). You can opt out in Settings.
3. Photos & screenshots
With your permission, Keepday reads screenshots from your photo library so you can sort them, recognize their text, and — only after you confirm — delete selected photos. The images never leave your device through Keepday.
4. Text recognition & dictation
Text recognition (Apple Vision) and dictation (Apple Speech) run on-device. Recognized text and voice notes are processed and stored locally on your iPhone only.
5. Reminders & calendar
If you mark a note as a to-do or add it to your calendar, Keepday creates entries in Apple Reminders and Apple Calendar on your device, with your permission. These stay within your own Apple account.
6. Sharing & exporting
When you share or export a note (AirDrop, Messages, Markdown file, or another destination), you choose where it goes. From that point on, the privacy policy of the destination service applies.
7. Children
Keepday is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
